South African Government confirms death of South Africans in the Mozambican Plane Crash
Pretoria- The South African Government has been informed by its High Commission in Mozambique of the confirmation of the deaths of seven South Africans in a plane crash in Beira on Saturday 20 September 2008.
Foreign Affairs Consular officers will provide the bereaved families with the necessary consular assistance with particular reference to the repatriation of the mortal remains back to South Africa.
In this regard, the South African Government extends its thoughts and prayers to those families who lost their loved ones during this tragic incident.
