President Thabo Mbeki to attend SADC Troika Summit in Swaziland

Pretoria- South African President Thabo Mbeki will tomorrow, Wednesday 10 September 2008 attend the SADC Troika Summit of the Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Co-ordination scheduled for Mbabane, Swaziland.

In this regard, President Mbeki was invited by the current Chairperson of the SADC Organ Troika, King Mswati III. The SADC Organ Troika comprises Swaziland, Angola and Mozambique.

President Mbeki is expected to brief the Summit on the ongoing SADC mandated facilitation work in Zimbabwe.
