Minister Dlamini Zuma Announces Venue for the Extra-Ordinary SADC Summit in South Africa

Pretoria- South African Foreign Minister Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma has today, Wednesday 5 November 2008, reaffirmed that the Extra-Ordinary SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government will be held in South Africa on Sunday 09 November.

“Details of the venue of the Extra-Ordinary SADC Summit of Heads of State and Government have now been finalised. I am therefore pleased to announce that the venue will be the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg on Sunday 9 November from 09h00” said Minister Dlamini Zuma

“The agenda of the Extra-Ordinary Summit will be a discussion of the current political situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as reports of the ongoing facilitation efforts in Zimbabwe” continued Minister Dlamini Zuma

“The Extra-Ordinary Summit will be chaired by South African President and Chairperson of SADC, President Kgalema Motlanthe” concluded Minister Dlamini Zuma
