South African Government Extends Condolences to Syria Following Terror Attacks

Pretoria – The South African government has today, Sunday 28 September 2008 extended its condolences to the government and people of Syria following terrorist attacks the in Syrian capital Damascus on Saturday 27 September 2008 that left 17 people dead and 14 injured.

“The government of the Republic of South Africa condemns in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attacks that occurred in Damascus.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with u during this difficult period”.

The government of South Africa urged that those responsible be brought to justice.
