South African President Thabo Mbeki will host Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on a State Visit to South Africa scheduled from Tuesday-Wednesday 02-03 September 2008 in Pretoria

A programme will be issued closer to the time.

Media are advised that accreditation will be required to cover the visit.
 
Unaccredited media will not have access to the official engagements in the programme.
