South Africa’s Ambassador to Malawi is involved in an Accident

Last night, into the early hours of the morning, South Africa's Ambassador to Malawi, H.E. Ntombile Mabude, was involved in an accident in Isipingo, Durban. She was rushed to the St Augustine Hospital. Though she sustained injuries, her condition remains stable, and the hospital has confirmed she will be discharged on Monday, 16 November 2009. The cause of the accident is unknown, and more information will be communicated as this becomes available.

The Ministry and the Department of International Relations and Cooperation regret the accident and are wishing the Ambassador a speedy recovery.
