South Africa to host SADC Extraordinary Summit: Accreditation Requirements

South Africa as Chair of SADC will host the SADC Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government at the Presidential Guesthouse in Pretoria on Monday 26 January 2009.

A detailed programme and further information, including details related to accreditation cards will be released in due course.

Media wishing to cover this Summit are requested to forward details for accreditation to mpolokengp@foreign.gov.za, mothoak@foreign.gov.za and masangod@foreign.gov.za by Friday 23 January 2009 at 10h00.  Details required:

• Name
• Media House
• RSA Identity/Passport №

Members of the media will have to present the following documentation for accreditation:

• South African Identity Document or Passport
• Press card or letter from the Editor

Media without the required documentation will not be accredited.

Unaccredited media will not have access to the Summit venue.
