South Africa to Host SADC Council of Ministers Meeting: Accreditation Requirements

South Africa, as Chair of SADC, will host the SADC Council of Ministers at the Cape Town Convention Centre in the Western Cape, from Saturday-Friday 21-27 February 2009.

A detailed programme and further information, including details related to accreditation cards will be released in due course.

Media wishing to cover this Summit are requested to forward details for accreditation to mothoak@foreign.gov.za, mpolokengp@foreign.gov.za and masangod@foreign.gov.za by Sunday 15 February 2009.  Details required:

• Name
• Media House
• RSA Identity/Passport №

Members of the media will have to present the following documentation for accreditation:

• South African Identity Document or Passport
• Press card or letter from the Editor

Media without the required documentation will not be accredited.

Unaccredited media will not have access to the Summit venue.
