Seminar on “The Role of the Hague Child Protection Conventions in the Practical Implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child”

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation and the Hague Conference on Private International Law based in the Netherlands will host a seminar to discuss steps to provide an inter-state framework for protecting the basic rights of children enshrined in the UN Convention of 20 November 1989 on the Rights of the child and the African Charter of 1990 on the Rights and Welfare of the Child.
