Briefing following Pre-COP Ministerial Consultations

International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane will brief the media following the conclusion of the traditional Pre-COP Ministerial Consultations taking place at Spier Conference Centre, Stellenbosch, Western Cape Province.

Minister Nkoana-Mashabane will brief the media in her capacity as the incoming President of the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the 7th Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP7), which will take place in Durban from 28 October to 09 December 2011.
