Condolences to the people and Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on recent natural disaster

The Government and the people of the Republic of South Africa wish to express their deepest condolences to the Government and the people of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on the tragic loss of life and the destruction of property and livelihood following the two severe earthquakes that hit the country recently.

At this moment of pain and suffering in the wake of this natural disaster, in particular in the case of those families who have lost their loved ones, the Government and people of South Africa share in the sorrow and wish the country well as those who have been affected rebuild their lives.
