Minister Nkoana-Mashabane to receive her Counterpart from the DRC
The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, will receive her counterpart from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Minister Raymond Tshibanda, for a tête-a-tête. The meeting between the two Ministers will precede the 8th SA-DRC Bi-National Commission, to be held on 23 October 2012 in Pretoria.

MEDIA BRIEFING
Members of the media are also invited to a press briefing, to take place immediately after the opening remarks at the SA-DRC bilateral meeting. The press briefing will focus on (1) the situation in Mali, (2) preparations for the COP18/CMP8 Climate Change Conference, which is scheduled for the end of the year in Doha, Qatar, and (3) an update on South Africa’s hosting in March 2013 of the 5th BRICS Summit. The press briefing will take place in the DIRCO Media Briefing Room, OR Tambo House.
