Issues affecting the Youth to be discussed at the BRICS Forum Meetings
The impact of urbanisation on the youth will be high on the agenda on the second day of the 2nd BRICS Urbanisation Forum and 3rd Friendship Cities in Local Government Cooperation Forum meetings on Thursday, 28 November 2013.
South Africa hosted its first ever BRICS-National Youth Consultative Forum on 01 November 2013. The Forum was aimed at responding to the many challenges faced by the youth of South Africa and a concerted effort to address them in conjunction with our major international partners as represented in BRICS.
A breakfast session which is open to the members of the media will be addressed by representatives from the National Youth Development Agency and then followed by a panel discussion on youth and urbanisation by delegates from Brazil, Russia, India and China.
