South Africa and the United Nations to sign the Strategic Cooperation Framework: 2013-17

The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Marius Fransman, and the UN Resident Coordinator and UN Resident Representative in South Africa, Dr Agostihno Zacarias, will sign the “South Africa-United Nations Strategic Cooperation Framework (UNSCF): 2013-17”. The UNSCF is the overall framework for the work of the UN system in South Africa, which was developed in 2012, through a participatory consultative inter-departmental and provincial process, led by Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) in coordination with  the UN Country Team in South Africa.
