Ambassadorial Forum on China - South Africa Diplomatic Relations

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation in partnership with the Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA) and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in South Africa, will host an Ambassadorial Forum on China – South Africa Diplomatic Relations at 15 Years.  The Ambassadorial Forum is one of AISA’s flagship projects done in conjunction with the City of Tshwane that provides a platform for Diplomats, Civil Society and Think tanks to define their foreign policies, investments and market opportunities of the countries they represent.”

Deputy Minister Marius Fransman will deliver a key note address during the 15th Anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of South Africa and the People’s Republic of China.

The commemoration of the 15th anniversary will be through discussions on China-South African bilateral relations from a political and economic perspective. These discussions will be undertaken against the backdrop of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership where the two countries expressed the desire to further strengthen and deepen cooperation based on equality, mutual benefit and common development.
