Media accreditation for the 6th SA-EU Summit
South Africa will host the 6th SA-EU Summit on the 18th of July 2013. Presidents Von Rumpoy and Barosso will meet President Zuma in Pretoria. Given the challenges that face South Africa at the moment, President Zuma will emphasise South Africa’s engagements with Europe around a central theme namely ”Job Creation through Inward Investment.”
The media programme is as follows:

10:00: Members of the Media arrive at the Sefako Mapogo Makgatho Presidential Guesthouse, Bryntirion, Pretoria.
11:00 – 11:30: Tête-à-tête between President Jacob Zuma, President Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council and President Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission

The closing date for applications is Tuesday, 15 July 2013.
Media representatives that have successfully applied for accreditation should present themselves for live photo accreditation at the accreditation centre in Pretoria. The venue is Basement 1 (Gym) near the underground parking entrance at DIRCO, O.R Tambo Building, 460 Soutpansberg Road, Rietondale 0084.
The accreditation centre will be open as from Wednesday, 17 July 2013, between 08h00-18h00. Media should please present their press cards and ID/passport when collecting accreditation cards.
