SADC Troika Summit to meet in South Africa

The Organ of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) on Politics, Security and Defence is scheduled to hold a Summit in South Africa on 09 March 2013 to discuss, amongst other things, the political developments in the Republic of Zimbabwe.

The Summit is convened by the SADC Organ Troika Chairperson, H.E. President Jakaya Kikwete of the Republic of Tanzania. President Zuma will participate in the Summit in his capacity as the SADC Facilitator of the Zimbabwe Dialogue.

Other expected participants in the Summit include the President of Zimbabwe, H.E. Robert Mugabe; the President of the Republic of Mozambique, H.E. Armando Guebuza; the Prime Minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe, H.E. Morgan Tsvangarai; the Prime Minister of Namibia, H.E. Hage Geingob; the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Zimbabwe, H.E. Arthur Mutambara and the Leader of the MDC-N, Mr Welshman Ncube.
