Minister Nkoana-Mashabane to host her Vietnamese counterpart
International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane is scheduled to host her counterpart from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Foreign Affairs Minister Pham Binh Minh, for bilateral consultations.
While 2013 marks the celebration of 20 years of formal diplomatic relations between South Africa and Vietnam, the relationship between the two countries goes back much further, including the contacts that were established at the Bandung Conference in 1955.
