President Zuma to host President Michelle Bachelet Jeria of the Republic of Chile

President Jacob Zuma will on Friday, 08 August 2014, host the President of the Republic of Chile, Her Excellency Dr Michelle Bachelet Jeria, for a State visit to South Africa. This will be President Bachelet’s first visit to the Republic of South Africa.

The purpose of the State Visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

The media are invited as follows:
