President Zuma congratulates the President of the Republic of Guinea on his re-election
On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of South Africa, H.E. President Jacob Zuma has congratulated President Alpha Condé on his re-election as President of the Republic of Guinea, following the Presidential Elections held on 11 October 2015.
President Zuma further congratulated the people of the Republic of Guinea for conducting a peaceful, transparent, credible, free and fair election, as declared by the African Union (AU) and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) election observer teams.
President Zuma expressed his commitment to continue working closely with President Condé to enhance the good bilateral relations which exist between the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Guinea, paying particular focus on the strengthening of economic cooperation.
