Deputy Minister Landers to deliver a public lecture at the University of KwaZulu-Natal

The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Luwellyn Landers, will deliver a public lecture at the University of KwaZulu-Natal on the topic: “Strengthening the African Agenda through AU, BRICS and FOCAC.”

The public lecture is hosted by the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, in partnership with the African Centre for Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD) and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Deputy Minister Landers will discuss South Africa’s foreign policy priorities, focusing on the outcomes of the 25th AU Summit in June 2015; the 7th BRICS Summit and launch of the BRICS New Development Bank in July 2015; and South Africa’s hosting of the upcoming 2nd Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in December 2015.
