Minister Nkoana-Mashabane arrives in the Kingdom of the Netherlands on a Working Visit
International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane has arrived in the Kingdom of the Netherlands today, Monday, 16 November 2015, where she will lead a South African delegation to the 14th Session of the Assembly of States Parties (ASP) of the International Criminal Court to be held in The Hague from 18-26 November 2015.
The Assembly of States Parties is the management oversight and legislative body of the International Criminal Court.
Minister Nkoana-Mashabane will deliver South Africa's opening statement during the General Debate of the ASP on 18 November 2015. While in The Hague, the Minister will also hold meetings with organs of the Court and other dignitaries on various aspects relating to the International Criminal Court.
The Minister will be accompanied by Justice and Correctional Services Minister Michael Masutha, as well as senior government officials from the Department of International Relations and Cooperation, the Department of Justice and Correctional Services, and the Presidency.
