High Commissioner Ndebele has not been recalled
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation has noted a report in the Sowetan newspaper of Wednesday, 25 May 2016, indicating that South Africa's High Commissioner to Australia, His Excellency Sibusiso Ndebele, has been recalled from his diplomatic posting.
The Department wishes to place it on record that High Commissioner Ndebele remains in his position and that he is performing his official duties as Head of Mission in the Australian capital, Canberra.
