President Zuma sends his condolence to the Republic of Fiji following upon Tropical Cyclone Winston

President Zuma has on behalf of the Government and people of South Africa expressed his condolences to the Government and people of the Republic of Fiji following upon the devastating Cyclone Winston which struck the islands comprising the nation of Fiji, and which has to date claimed 29 lives and wrought widespread destruction, on 20 February 2016.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Fiji in the aftermath of this severe cyclone which has wrought such disaster and devastation. On behalf of the Government and people of South Africa, I send my deepest condolences to the Government of Fiji and to everyone affected, particularly to the families and friends of those killed and injured.
