Deputy Minister Landers to Co-chair the 6th Session of the SA-Chile Joint Consultative Mechanism
Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Luwellyn Landers will co-chair the 6th session of the SA-Chile Joint Consultative Mechanism with Mr Edgardo Riveros, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile. The 6th JCM will focus on a number of issues including multilateral cooperation and regional developments. Cooperation in trade and investment will be central to the discussions as South Africa is a major foreign investor in Chile.
The 6th session of JCM will conclude with the signing of an agreement on the Waiver of Visa requirements for Holders of Diplomatic or Official Passports between the two countries.
