Minister Nkoana-Mashabane and Premier Mchunu to co-host International Women’s Day event
International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane and the Premier of the Kwa-Zulu Natal Province, Mr Willies Mchunu, will co-host an event to mark 2017 International Women’s Day, which is celebrated globally on 08 March.
The event will take place on Saturday, 11 March 2017, in Umhlathuze, Kwa-Zulu Natal Province.
The theme adopted by United Nations for this year’s International Women’s Day is “Be bold for change”.
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
