President Ramaphosa arrives in Namibia for a Courtesy Call to President Hage Geingob

Windhoek - President Cyril Ramaphosa and Chair of the South African Development Community (SADC) has today, Friday, 02 March 2018, arrived in Windhoek in the Republic of Namibia.
President Ramaphosa is in Namibia as part of his three-nation visit that includes Angola, Namibia and Botswana to pay courtesy calls on the Heads of the respective governments.
While in Windhoek, President Ramaphosa will have bilateral discussions with Namibian President Hage Geingob at the State House and engage in official talks. Namibia will assume SADC Chairmanship after South Africa.
President Ramaphosa is accompanied by Ministers Lindiwe Sisulu of International Relations and Cooperation, Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula of Defence and Military Veterans.
The President commenced his three-nation visit in Luanda, Angola, the current Chair of the SADC Organ of Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation, where he had bilateral discussion with President João Lourenço.
President Ramaphosa will travel to Gaborone, Botswana, the host of the SADC Secretariat, on Saturday, 03 March 2018, to also hold a consultative meeting with President Seretse Khama.
