President Jacob Zuma sends condolences to the Russian Federation following plane crash

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency President Jacob Zuma has conveyed a message of condolences to the government and the people of the Russian Federation following the plane crash that occurred in Moscow on Sunday, 11 February 2018, killing all passengers and crew members on board.

President Zuma said: “We extend our condolences to His Excellency President Vladimir Putin, the Government and the people of the Russian Federation. The South African people stand with the Russian people, particularly the families of the victims, during this time of mourning.”
