Deputy Minister Botes to host his Mexican counterpart
The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Alvin Botes, will on Tuesday, 20 August 2019, host the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Mexican States, Mr Julián Ventura, for a bilateral meeting.
The purpose of the visit is to reaffirm the existing friendship between South Africa and Mexico as the two countries commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The visit will accord the two countries an opportunity to reflect on the gains made in the last 25 years and identify more opportunities for future cooperation.
