Andrew Tsepo Lebona was born in Durban and spent his formative years in Lesotho as well as attending boarding school in Swaziland.

A hotelier by profession, he is an alumni of Schloss Klessheim, Salzburg, Austria and Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, Switzerland.

He pursued a Masters in Tourism in Rome, courtesy of the late Cardinal Bernardin Gantin of Benin, Prefect of The Congregation of Bishops at The Vatican..

Tsepo honed his skills in Economic Diplomacy at The French Embassy Trade Commission in Sandton, South Africa, soon after the democratic dispensation.

He later served as a consultant at South African Airways Catering Division, the Development Bank of Southern Africa West African Projects, The Shanghai 2010 World Expo and a host of private tourism projects.

Tsepo is an avid wine connaisseur and gourmet enthusiast.

He recalibrates by listening to classical music, Bach, Beethoven and Mozart among his favorite composers.

A new entrant at DIRCO, Tsepo speaks French German and Italian with ease and eloquence.
