| South Africa and Kenya continue to have good trade relations, Kenya is East Africa’s largest economy and gateway to the region. In the context of South Africa’s trade with the rest of the Continent, Kenya is South Africa’s largest trading partner outside the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, making South Africa the biggest seller of goods to Kenya in the Continent. In this regard, Kenya provides a huge opportunity for South African exporters of value-added products. There are more than 60 South African companies operating in Kenya, with investments in the financial services, real estate, food and beverages, entertainment services and hospitality sector, among others. |
