Invitation to Registration on the Supplier Database of the South African High Commission (PDFversion)

WELCOME MESSAGE BY HIGH COMMISSIONER MADIEPETSANE CHARLOTTE LOBE

Welcome to the online portal of the South African High Commission in Singapore.

The role of the South African High Commission in Singapore is to promote and facilitate government to government relations with Singapore. Similarly, we seek to promote trade and investment relations with the special focus on the promotion of South Africa’s agro-processing sector exports, tourism promotion and technical skills transfer from Singapore to South Africa.

The South African High Commission in Singapore will continue to provide consular and immigration assistance. The High Commission will also continue to enhance people-to-people contact and further develop political, social and cultural ties between our respective countries.

South Africa is open for business and continues to provide opportunities for investment in a market that boasts a stable democracy, technologically advanced infrastructure and the most diversified economy on the African continent which compares favourably to other emerging markets. As the gateway to Africa, South Africa enables access to the markets of the world’s second largest continent, which contains 30% of the globe’s mineral reserves, and the youngest population in the world, with 70% of sub-Saharan Africa under the age of 30.

I urge all South Africans visiting Singapore and those living in the country to take note of the High Commission’s contact details for emergency and consular assistance. I also urge all South Africans to register on the link for the "Registration of South Africans Abroad (ROSA)" when visiting or living in Singapore.

Thank you

Madiepetsane Charlotte Lobe

High Commissioner of the Republic South Africa to Singapore
