South African Temporary Passports - Benelux countries

Prospective visitors to the Benelux -countries (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg) are advised that the authorities in these countries have decided that South African Temporary passports will not be accepted by Benelux-Immigration authorities with effect from 1 April 2007 in order to be admitted to these countries. South African Travellers wishing to enter these countries after 31 March 2007 should therefore be in possession of a permanent South African passport prior to departure. According to the Benelux-authorities, Benelux visas with entry validity up to 31 March 2007, will still be issued in such temporary passports for entry prior to 1 April 2007.
