Non Recognition by Denmark of the South African Passport issued to Minor Children

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation (Chief Directorate: Consular Services) was advised on 30 October 2009 by the Royal Danish Embassy in Pretoria of the non-recognition, by Denmark, of the South African Passport issued to minor children (under the age of 16).

In view of the stated non-recognition holders of such passports will not be granted entry into Denmark thus no visa / residence permit will be issued to the holder of such a passport.
