Iraq: Entry Requirement: Health Restrictions

The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq announces a new condition for entry by the Government of the Republic of Iraq that all persons wishing to visit the Republic of Iraq must have a blood test to show that they have no dangerous infectious diseases.

According to the Embassy, the following visitors are exempted from this requirement:

  • diplomatic passport holders
  • males over the age of 60 years
  • females over the age of 50 years
  • children under the age of 14 years.
