The focus of our work and engagement with the government and people of Sudan is in all areas of our (potential) cooperation in fields such as agriculture, mining, infrastructure development, youth capacity building, and science and technology. The doors of our Embassy are open to assist all South Africans living, working, and travelling to and from Gabon with consular and related matters when necessary; and to facilitate the issuance of requisite travel documents for Gabonese wishing to travel to South Africa.

South Africa is one of the most sophisticated, diverse and promising emerging markets in the world. Strategically located at the tip of the African continent, South Africa is a key investment location, both for the commercial opportunities within its borders and the potential it offers as a gateway to the rest of the continent - a market of some 1-billion people.

South Africa has enormous potential as an investment destination: a unique combination of highly developed first-world economic infrastructure with a vibrant emerging market economy.

It is also one of the most advanced, broad-based industrial and productive economies in Africa.

The Mission is committed to inculcating the spirit of Ubuntu and the “Batho Pele” (People First) principles, in the provision of its services, which is reflective of our country’s values of putting humanity central to all that we do.

We remain a prime destination for tourism which offers beautiful scenery, wildlife, beaches, amazing climate, and culturally diverse South Africans, waiting to welcome you to our rainbow nation!

H.E Ms NP Notutela Mthabela
Ambassador
