19th Africa Energy Indaba 2027:
On behalf of the Africa Energy Indaba, we would like to bring to your attention the upcoming 19th Africa Energy Indaba 2027, taking place from 2–4 March 2027 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Cape Town, South Africa.
2027 Theme: African Energy – Pathways to Prosperity: “Connectedness and Cooperation”
The Africa Energy Indaba is Africa’s premier energy conference and exhibition, bringing together Ministers, government representatives, policymakers, utilities, regulators, investors, development finance institutions, project developers, technology providers and senior industry leaders from across Africa and internationally.
The 2027 edition will focus on strengthening cooperation and connectivity across Africa’s energy sector, with discussions addressing energy security, regional power integration, energy access, infrastructure development, investment, innovation and the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
South Africa’s Leadership in Africa’s Energy Sector
The Africa Energy Indaba is fully supported by the Department of Electricity and Energy (DEE), with Minister Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa driving the narrative around South Africa’s role and leadership in shaping Africa’s energy future.
The Indaba provides an important platform for South Africa to demonstrate its commitment to working with fellow African countries, international investors and industry partners to address the continent’s energy challenges and unlock opportunities for sustainable economic growth.
