Activities 1963 : Was given a banning order, which restricted his movement
and prevented him from attending public gatherings.
During this time he
was detained for short periods of time, often for violating his banning order.1964
: Left South Africa after the Revonia trial. Lived mostly in

spent time in Angola and Zimbabwe. 1966 : Started working full-time for
the ANC, developing the Anti-
Apartheid Movement in the UK and Europe.
