African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC)

HISTORY AND PRESENT STATUS

Established on 15 June 1947 as a specialised agency of the OAU, AFCAC aims to encourage co-operation in all civil aviation activities in Africa.

South Africa joined AFCAC in September 1994.
