of Relations Full diplomatic relations were established in March
1993. The South African Ambassador to Ukraine was accredited to Belarus on a non-residential
basis until 1 August 1996, after which date non-residential accreditation was
transferred to the South African Ambassador to Poland. The Ambassador to
the Russian Federation is the non-residential Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus Diplomatic

Requirements
No medical restrictions are in effect. Common
colds, bronchial ailments, sinusitis and intestinal flu are common especially
in winter and it is advisable to bring along a supply of over-the-counter medicines

Belarus
has a moderate to cold continental climate, with average temperatures from -6
deg. Celsius in January to +18 deg. Celsius in June. The country has large lowlands,

Currency Info
The monetary
unit is the Belarussian Rouble (BLR). It can be divided into 100 Kopeks. Due to
hyper inflation in the country Kopeks are not in circulation.
