Relations Full diplomatic relations between the former Federal 
Republic of Czechoslovakia and South Africa were established in October 1991. 
With the dissolution of the Federal Republic of Czechoslovakia, the Czech Republic 
came into existence as a separate sovereign state on 1 January 1993. The bilateral 
diplomatic relations entered into with the Federal Republic of Czechoslovakia
