Health requirements
While
a valid international health certificate proving vaccination against yellow
fever only is required, vaccination against hepatitis A and B and meningitis
is also recommended. Preventative measures against malaria are strongly advised.

Sierra
Leone has a tropical climate characterised by high temperatures throughout the
year, with distinct rainy (April to November) and dry (December to March) seasons.
Average annual temperature in the capital, Freetown, ranges from 26,7 degrees
C in January to 25,6 degrees C in July, while annual rainfall averages 3 434mm.
