History of Relations

The South African Embassy was established in Algiers in November 1997. The political relations between the South African liberation movement and Algeria dates back to the 1950s / 1960s.

Algiers is hot and humid in summer with a temperature going up to 40 degrees C from June to September, and cold in winter from October to May with a temperature varying from 6 to 19 degrees C.
